Also known as AFL, Aussie Rules, and Footy.

2010 kicks off in Texas (Houston v Baton Rouge)

US FootyNews Article

The new kids on the block, the Houston Lonestars host the Baton Rouge Tigers to kick off the 2010 USFooty season. The game will take place on Saturday March 27 at George Bush Park. Start time is set for 2pm.

There will be a lot of firsts on Saturday. Baton Rouge will be coached by first year Head Coach Tyler Smith and they will blood a number of new players. "We're bringing a fairly raw squad to Houston. We're missing a number of key players in the forward lines, but we should be steady across the back and middle. I hear Houston is going to have a few gaps in their line-up as well, but who knows what Danny Holwerda's planning. Something devious, I'm sure."
