A great win on the weekend in Baton Rouge, for those guys that made the trip, excellent work (and holy cow do I hurt today)!!

Remember there is a game on this weekend v Austin at 10:30am, we need a big turnout at both training and on Saturday.

Saturday after the game, I will be handing out the footy jumpers to those that had bought one at the post match party at the Firkin, so please try and make it to the after party.

Quick update on happenings in Lonestar world.

1. Jerseys: Dave Edge will be bringing them back with him from Aus, they should arrive by next weekend in time for our Baton Rouge game.  When they arrive, we will have some sort of event like a BBQ so hand out individual jumpers and all round drink fest to celebrate our identity.

2. Netball: The Houston Shooting Stars Netball Team and Team USA (university Games Team) are holding a fund raising function to get the girls to South Africa, we would love The Lonestars to be part of.

We will have great lucky door prizes, raffles, cocktail food and drinks at happy hour prices.
